At the moment I am exploring my compulsive compositions through mixed media paintings as well as fabric collages. How I begin my work is very simple. I feel that it always starts with that first step of laying down or creating that first line or shape. Then each mark or component that follows is a direct reaction to the step that precedes it. I then continue adding colors, lines, or shapes until I create a composition that I feel satisfied with. Sometimes this process can take hours, other times it may take days.
