Megan Gerstenberg

I grew up in North Eastern Pennsylvania.  I always thought of art as just a hobby until I spent a summer at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit.  It was then that I decided to make art my future.  I attended the Maryland Institute College of art where my art and personal beliefs were challenged.  It was there that I discovered an enthusiasm for teaching art to other people, and decided to join the Master of Art Teaching program at MICA.  I now currently teach middle school students at a public school in Maryland.
